You are only thirteen. He was your babysitter. The key words here are baby and sitter. If he was considered old enough and responsible enough to be your sitter and you were the baby then he is too old for you. At thirteen you have the same feelings for him that you would have for a teacher. It is called admiration or puppy love or something like that. This is not true love. You are much too young to have a mature relationship with anyone. Jeez ! Thirteen ! It's not like your life is going to end tomorrow. Please wait until you are older to find your first true love. You will know when you are ready but please not for at least another two or three years yet.

17 vs 13 . Sorry the age difference at your age makes a world of difference. Your talking love, he's thinking sex(trust me I used to be a teen a long time ago). Great way to make both sets of parents freak out too. Seriously, it's a bad move all around.

If it happens then it happens, you cant force him. At the end of the day you are 13 and some of his friends may think that he is stupid for thinking about even looking at a 13 year old girl in that way.
Let it run its course, allow him to tell you how he feels in his own time - when he said 'go with the flow' it meant 'lets see', its not an 'i like you' or an 'i'm in to you' its just him telling you to wait and let him make up his mind.

Just leave it a while, dont take any action you may regret as he may see you as being 'pushy and needy' and you DONT want that!

Good luck hunny! xx

You're infatuated with this 17 yr old. If I was your parent I would put your IM on lock down----You are 13 and still very immature----You have no business even thinking about dating etc----Focus your interests on school, sports and church activities with a youth group in your own age bracket.

Tell him you love him flat out, and see what he says. If he says no, you slap him in the face run around screaming, then crawl up to your bedroom and cry for a year. Hey, it happens. But if he says yes, then start singing Hallelujah, and jummp into his arms and kiss him. But, if he puts you down and tells you that you are too heavy to carry, then I would go back to thought A, and do the slapping, crying, crawling, pouting, screaming, bedrooming thing all over again. But, that's what has always helped me. You might be slightly different.

What you have isn't "love"; it's a crush, and he's too old for you. You're way too young to be thinking about "love". Just try and have a good time with guys your own age.

you should listen to the majority of these people, serious relationships shouldn't happen until you are at least 18... seriously.
