i was on zoloft for 3 months for my panic attacks.. and after i was off it, my temper has gone very bad.. and lately when i get so sad or angry, i'd start hitting myself in the head with anything that's within my reach unlike before that i'd only cry and/or hurl stuff that's within my reach.. is this a sign of depression or is it something else?

You need a complete medical workup. No one can diagnose something like this here on this answer site. It could be serious and you do need help now. Go to your doctor and explain what is going on and tell them everything. If you have trouble remembering as some do, write the problems down before you go.

Hi sorry to read things are bad for you. You need to go back and see your doctor or mental health professional. It sounds like depression to me but I am not an expert obviously.
Please don't delay and get some help.

Best wishes and good luck

PS. most medications such as zoloft and other antidepressants should be taken for a MINIMUM of 6 months AND you need cognitive behaviour therapy with the medication.

xx

Oh dear, I am so worried for you. So the panic attacks are better I take it? If you enjoy any other recreational drugs please, please stop them. Stop hurting yourself, as this makes you feel worse emotionally. I used to cut myself but when I got rid of my boyfriend, I suddenly felt better! See your doctor, or whoever again, ask if you can be referred to a counsellor. You may need to change or have additional drugs.

Please go back to see your doctor immediately. This is a medical issue not an issue for unprofessional people to answer. I hope you find a balance somewhere inside of yourself, in order to live a happier healthier life... Good luck to you...
