if you want something unique, try asian wedding dress. pick one, chinese, japanese, korean, or maybe indonesian. they all have unique wedding dress.

There are so many beautiful dresses, it is really hard to find the "perfect" one, so try to find one that you will love. I searched with my mom and a bridesmaid and compared their reactions to my feelings to find the perfect dress. I love my dress.... and I could not have found it without them.

Make sure when you go to find that perfect dress that you don't just admire. Move around in it, unless you intend to change clothes for the reception.

I just watched a bride spend all of her reception pulling her strapless gown back up over her boobs. It so spoiled the elegance of the bride.

There are plenty of designers that you can choose from, but you always go according to you budget.The most affordable one I can think of are davids bridal and Alfred Angelo.I discovered Essense of Australia a while ago and their are really nice.Marys bridal is another good one.

go to some bridal stores & try on various styles.
as so many dresses today seem to be strapless ; then maybe look at something with a full shoulder to be different.
