It must all be terrible propoganda I see when I turn on my TV and see cars blown up in Iraq, Israeli civilians been blown up by martyrs, flags been toasted, calls for the death of those who dare say anything accusative of Islam, right?

By the way, I also heard that Mother Teresa, Pope John Paul, Mahatma Gandhi, Florence Nightingale, etc etc lives there, being non muslims, so its ok..

Jihadists today invoke the Quran to justify the worst terrorist crimes. Throat slitting of infidels is mentioned in the Quran. Al-Mawardi (d. 1058), the prominent 11th century jurist quoted this verse, specifically, « When you encounter those who deny (the Truth) then strike (their) necks. » (Quran 47 :4), in his learned discussion of jihad. This ritual execution is also mentioned in other Muslim legal texts and in narratives of Christian and prominent Muslim historians. Today it is performed against infidels and recorded on videotape for the edification of Muslim audiences.
As we know, the Israelis pulled out totally from Gaza in the summer of 2005. The optimistic intention and hope was that the Palestinians would build a self-sustaining society in Gaza, based on the innovative and profitable hothouses left by the Israelis.
Instead of this, the Hamas and other Muslim terrorist groups immediately began daily bombardment of Israel with Qassam missiles, targeting the innocent Israeli civilian population. Now these terrorists have been "successful" and killed several Israelis and seriously injured several Israelis.
Clearly, the Israel Defense Forces have the capability of flattening Beit Hanoun, the town from which the Hamas terrorists have launched hundreds of missiles. Why does Israel not flatten this part of Gaza to stop the murderous attacks? What other military action should Israel take to defend its citizens?

I don't love Islam, not because of what I see on T.V. but, because Islam denies the diety of Jesus Christ and equalizes the risen Savior to Islam's false prophet.
What you see on T.V. is biased. Read parts of their book then you'll know the reasons why not to follow its teachings.

1) you're not stupid. stupid people don't question themselves.
2) ignorant you might be, I don't know. but if all your knowledge on Islam comes from TV reports... then you probebly are , at least about Islam :-) (no offense meant).
3) don't forget that TV networks need to sell a story.. they tend to inflate things, make them black and white.. while we know that life is all about shades of grey.
there are very good things in Islam as there are very bad(like any religion).
and there are very bad Muslims as there are very good. and many people in between.

what you see on TV is not Islam. If i was not a Muslim and all I knew about Islam was from the TV, I would not love Islam either. True Islam is never shown on TV. One day, God willing, I will show it to you one TV, but my time as not come for that yet. Thank God I learned about Islam from good sources. For now, you must seek out the true believers. They are usually called Sufis and they can show you what Islam is all about. It is the most spiritual, peaceful and beautiful way of life.

Just switch off your t.v. Or tune on to something useful. You are not in their shoe so you wouldn't understand. Get a popcorn and go watch a movie or something. If you bored then go to sleep in your nice comfy bed without the sound of bombs exploding, children crying ect...
