That is way to low. You must start cooking of the turkey at 500 degrees for 30 minutes and then lower it to 350 for the rest of the cooking process. Cooking turkey below 350 will invite bacteria. 350 is a slow cook. How long you do that will depend upon the size of your turkey. I will be doing a 22 pound turkey for 4-6 hours.

It depends on the weight, but usually about 3 hours covered then turn down heat and uncover, for another hour or until golden brown. Don't forget to baste every 1/2 hour.
