A male dog is stuck inside my female dog. Is there a way to separate them? Or will they separate themselves if I just leave them alone?

No, you can't separate them, you might injure them.
They will separate when they are done.

They will separate themselves, but it might take a while - up to 45 minutes.
It is not good to separate them, because depending on the relative size of the dogs, it could cause injury.

They'll separate once he finishes. What happens is that a "knot" forms at the base of the dog's penis, preventing him from slipping out. There's not much to be done until he gets done; even if he wanted to get out, he couldn't.

They can stay that way up to a hour. Some people will run cold water over them. I would just leave them alone. They will come apart on thier own and you may get bit trying to get them apart.

they will separate on their own once they calm down. if you feel one or the other may be in pain you can pour water on them around the waist area. to make the separation happen faster you could also get down to their level and speak to them and pet them in a consoling manner

I think it takes something like 3hours for them to naturally seperate, else you could try the hose

Leave it to them.And please DON'T try to interrupt them during intercourse!The male dog won't be happy at all!So will your arm!
