Child psychologist or psychotherapist. There are some "tricks" you can do to keep him from hurting himself (if that is a fear of yours) such as holding him when he is lashing out, wrap your arms around his arms and your legs around his legs and hold him.

If it is just age and not some type of psycological issue then disclipline with LOVE, is the key. It has worked well for my 4 year old. Once she learned that her negative behavior had a consequence based on the behavior she started to calm down to a wonderful loving child. I did not hesitate to spank when the behavior was serious. But I also make sure that I give even more love when I have to spank.

Maybe he needs parents who put him ahead of their own needs.... from 6 months of age he has been in a creche with workers of varying capabilities. Do you even know who looks after him!! Primary caregivers should be parents, might sound harsh, but it is beyond me why people have kids, then spend time having them raised by others???? If he is becoming irate and angry, spend TIME to find out why with him, rather than asking total strangers in front of a screen!!!!
