No, it is better to burn them. If you don't have a fireplace, you can burn them in a large metal pot (be sure to have a glass of water handy).

Do you have kids with him, if so no.
If you do not have kids with him do not just throw them in garbage but burn those suckers! This way you can not change your mind and dig in the garbage like a stray dog and remove the coffee grinds and the messy crud that is on them, clean them off and keep them......guys make us do some pretty weird things....LOL!
Before you burn them make sure you scan the pics, take it to a program distort them, save them in this format and throw away the originals, empty your trash can (on the computer of course).
This way you can laugh at the pictures when those feelings come over you.....
Us women have to stick together lol!

Put them in storage and make a decision when you are less emotional about them. If children are involved, save the pictures for them. You aren't with your ex but the children have a right to have those pictures of their family.
So, put the pictures away for now and come back to them when you feel you can look at them. Perhaps some will trigger some nice memories or maybe not.
Just don't do anything that you would regret...once they are burned, they are ruined.

I had a wonderful bonfire with my ex pics, and belongings. The fire was perfect for drinking margaritas around with the girls, and even throwing the rings into.
It was a great night, and a wonderful way to turn BAD memories into good.

No, because they are memories. If your ex doesn't stay an ex, you'll be sorry you got rid of them, but if he does you can look back at 'em and say it was a stepping stone.

Why do you want to keep them?........
I have lots of pictures of 1 of my ex's ... it was a good relationship while it lasted and I keep them for nice memories .... BUT
I know I have moved on from that relationship and I wont go back

I found it helpfull when i split up with my ex , you tend too just keep looking at them and thinking about them otherwise . chuck em and get on with your new single life i say ..best of luck in the future

i still keeping the pics of my ex for memory. but that doesn't mean that i still love him. it's just for memory
