I like STELLA's answer.. I may even give it a try...
I will do the mixture and use it on my face... then I would wash it off with warm water.
I think its best to try it twice a week at first, and then reduce to once/week.
You should avoid this treatment if you are sensitive to fruit acids. You may wanna test a mall portion on the skin close to your chin first. If itchiness, swelling, or redness occur, then this is probably not a good treatment for you.
but here is my suggestion:
Its important that you know that you cant actually make pores smaller, you only reduce the appearence and prevent other pores from getting larger.
It wont hurt to try this....
First you need to find a gentle mild soap to use in your daily routine. A skin needs to be clean before you go to bed... seriously.
You also need to shop around for a good oil-free lotion to apply to your face. I personally like sheseido products so much!
Also try to use oil-free make up (you dont want to clog your pores, do you?)
My natural home remedy is this:
Mix well together 1 table spoon of sugar + 1 table spoon of honey + 1 table spoon of olive oil.
Wet your face.
Rub in the mixture gently in circular motion allover your face, avoiding the eye area.
Rinse and pat dry.
Remember, clean pores = small pores!
Good Luck, I hope it helps ;-)

.u cud jus simply use egg white on ur face. Separate the egg white from the yolk. Put the egg white on your face and relax for about 15 minutes. Wash off with lukewarm water.
This mask leaves your skin smooth, refreshed and tightens your skin.
u cud also use a honey mask
1½ tbsp. honey
1 egg white
2 tsp. glycerin
1/3 cup flour
Whisk the honey, egg white and glycerin, and then add the flour. The result should be a thick paste. Apply to face and rinse after 15 minutes This mask effectively moisturizes and tightens the skin, making it smooth and soft.

a lot of folks dont know that you can't actually reduce the size of your pores. only reduce the size of their appearance. your pore size has to do with your skin type. If you have oily skin your pores are larger than someone with dryer skin.
The best thing i have found for reducing the appearance of your pores is to use a weekly or twice weekly facial mask that is appropriate for your skin type. I like the Skin Focus peel off mask from The Body Shop, and i think it's good for all skin types.

I take it you mean not after washing your face, just big pores in general?? I 100% recommend hydrocortisone!! You can get over the counter creams. Its fantastic. it's meant for flaky skin but a side effect of it is that it seriously tightens pores. don't use it excessively though coz after excessive use it has been known to age the skin

crack an egg and separate it. put the yellow part on you face let it harden. This will help it heal. next take the white part and do the same. The white part will shrink your pores. Try this it really works.

THE EASIEST AND WITH THE QUICKEST RESULT(RIGHT AWAY) THAT I KNOW IS USING EGG WHITE AS A FACE MASK. WHIP 1-2 EGGWHITES WITH A DROP OR TWO OF LEMON JUICE. WHEN IT GETS FOAMY AND VERY LIGHT APPLY ON UR FACE AND WAIT TILL IT DRIES OUT. U WILL EVEN FEEL IT THIGHTENING UR PORES. THEN WASH IT OUT WITH LUKE WARM WATER AND U WILL INSTANTLY SEE THE DIFFERENCE.
