Hes 34, never married, longest relationship was 9 months. He says he doesn't want to get married till he's 65, just in time not to die alone, and then its more likely to last. And says he's not a player. He says things that makes it seem like he would want more.
So, could he maybe just say he doesn't ever want a relationship because he's insecure that the woman will leave him for someone who can keep it up?

That could be true. It's no difference when men treat women like crap...women after awhile has a hard time opening up due to being hurt in the long run.

If he can't even keep it hard, he's nothing more than a wanna-be player.
