Even the parents have their future, but most children think that the parents duty is to care them and they don"t realise that the parents should be taken care of. ( not everychildren)The joint family system is comfortable for both but now a days it is not in many families. The younger generation should think about it. What is your opinion?

Are you taking care of your parents?

Many parents with this belief that their children should tend to them and care for them as they cared for their children are the ones that are not caring for their own.

If they are raised seeing you taking care of their grandparents they will have learned through modeling that they should care for their own parents.

children do as they are taught.

It's our duty as parents to see our children grow and have a life of their own but...we have also an obligation towards ourselves.Yes parenthood needs a lot of patience and sacrifice but up to a certain point only. One thing we must bear in mind is that we can be martyr but not sacrificial lambs forever. We should not expect our children to take care of us in our old age...if they do...very good...if not...well, who cares. That's why we'll help our kids prepare their future...but we must not also forget to prepare for our old age. Invest on memorial plans ahead to be sure that your funeral will be well taken care of. Save money for a nursing home...if ever your kids well take you for granted in your old days. It's our obligation to raise our children but we can not obligate our children to repay us for what we have done for them. It's always better to be prepared than die begging for mercy and penniless.

my little boy takes care of me while my husband which is also his daddy is in iraq. he pretends to have strong muscles and a big toy gun he will use to beat up any bad people that come into the house, he also asks me if the door is locked at night too! he is only 6 years old! oh and my three year old son , if i am laying on the couch taking a nap he gets a blanket and puts it over me to keep me warm without even me asking him too! He is so sweet!

what has 4 legs in the morning, 2 legs in the afternoon, and 3 legs in the evening? people.
4 legs need stability so the 2 leg people care for them
3 leg people need a bit of help and they need 2 legs to lean on
3 leg people can help stabilize 4 leg people

can you see how it takes ALL the people to make a complete day?

one thing i want to clear,

if i want my child care for me or atleast obey me, then i should obey or care to my parents infront of him/her.

its the best and the most important way in which we are going with our ideals, when we make our parents our ideal then our child will take us as their ideal.

a child grow in the world whatever he gains thats all from his surounding world, but main is their parents.to whom he/she seen by the birth, what they are doing, how they are reacting, what type of answering, what so ever,

MY OPINION IS ONLY THIS FIRST YOU BE GOOD THEN YOUR CHILD BE VERY GOOD,

BUT FIRST YOU SHOULD B GOOD
