I was disfellowshipped in 1982 by the Corning, CA Congregation.
http://maps.yahoo.com/index.php#q1=Corning%2C+CA%2C+us

I've been approached many times since about "coming out" and saying that I was disfellowshipped because I learned that their beliefs were false. I wasn't. It was from having close and friendly relations with multiple women. Very close and friendly. The life of a foolish young truck driver.

When I was informed of the decision, I was told that I could appeal it, but I didn't because I was guilty. It was only by shear chance that I never caught anything, let alone a paternity suit.

These people always say they were removed for immorality, but that I can say anything, as long as it made JWs look bad and people would believe it. I won't do that. If you don't believe me, give me your email and I will have the ex-wife write you. She will be glad to add details. Actually, she just got reinstated. She was removed for theft from an employer. The elders told the police.

Thank you. I'm tired of ppl stating so-called facts. I too am a former JW but am not associated b/c of some things that were my own fault. I just wish that ppl would try to listen to at least one thing they have to say instead of passing judgement solely on the fact of them knocking on doors

I wouldn't say that your claims proves the JW's to be false. What proves them to be false is that they believe Michael is Jesus, that only 144 thousand will go to heaven, that good works will get you life eternal. I ain't just blowing this out the ear hole, ya probably know. I have an aunt that is a JW and we h ave discussed these things.

You will never understand this because it is not logical. Waste no more time on it other than your own mistakes. Otherwise you are doomed to repeat them.

(Matthew 5:11,12) Happy are you when people reproach you and persecute you and lyingly say every sort of wicked thing against you for my sake. 12 Rejoice and leap for joy, since your reward is great in the heavens; for in that way they persecuted the prophets prior to you.

(Luke 10:16) He that listens to you [Kingdom preachers] listens to me [Jesus] too. And he that disregards you disregards me too. Moreover, he that disregards [Jesus] disregards also him [Jehovah] that sent [Jesus] forth.

I guess basically people are threatened by that which they don't know or understand, so they attempt to cover their ignorance
