If the messages make it blatantly obvious something is/was going on with her and someone else then confront her straight away, but if there's a chance you could be misinterpreting the messages then try and look for more information. But remember if you're supposed to be in a trusting relationship and the messages you've read have made you think otherwise or feel uncomfortable then you should bring it up straight away.

i had the same problem and i was so upset by what i had read on his phone i just flipped, he tried saying "well you should'nt be looking on my phone" but my friend if there was nothing to hide then there would not of been a problem that i looked through his phone. so confront her tell her what you saw, you never know there maybe a explanation, if she asks you why you were looking, just say "you should'nt have a problem we are a couple and we should have no secerts" if she really kicks of then kick her out and get a new girl

you obviously didnt trust the person in the first place for reading their messages. How long have you been together was this an old text before you met? Now you have read them though you will have to confront them and say look i read your messages and see what they have to say good luck

To be or not to be that is the question...

Wether tis nobler to seem a theif in the night
or suffer the slings and arrows of hearts desire grown cold

IE... doenst matter how you found out, you found out. Yes you probably should not have been reading her messages, but she obviously should have hidden them better as she has more to hide than you do.

Confront them but DONT say you read the messages - honest they will twist it and turn it until you end up being sorrier than them. Make out someone told you or rang you or whatever, but once you admit to snooping you lose the argument xx

ouch I was there too. I did not say anything and it nearly drove me nuts. Then I read all email till I found out what I already really knew. Dumb. I should have been honest from day one. Don't ignore the information, but be prepared to be alone..for now.

You bloody well confront her. If she's been up to something you have the right to know. She needs to be told you know. If she has is she really worth staying with?

Use her phone to reply to one of the text messages if you really want to know whats going on.
