Apologies for the image quality but this has been blown up from a photo of this picture which my mum used to have on her living room wall in the 1980's. There are trees, a rock on the left hand side and a stream or river running through the middle. The picture was lost years ago when we moved but I would love to get a print of it again for her so any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Just follow the link below to view it.

Yeah the image quality is pretty bad unfortunately.But that picture looks very much like the work of Robert Wood.Try second hand stores yard sales .I see prints done by him all the time .There is a Walter foster book by him if your interested which has similar pictures but I don't think an exact match.

Check out Robert Wood. He was a very popular landscape artist in the 1930's through '60's.

Looks a bit like Caspar David Friedrich, German romantic painter - but the quality is so bad its hard to tell...

I am not entirely sure. The quality is not too good. But judging by the painting style, It may be a Claude Mone or a renoir
