It is important for you to start with a budget. My wedding is going to be under 7000 for 100 people. I saved money on my dress and many other places. It is hard to give a price as you haven't said where you live small areas are less. How many people. What are the most important thing for you. If you are in an area with Welcome Wagon see if they are having a wedding shower. These events are free to attend and let you meet different vendors. You will also find week days are cheaper to get married on and you are more likely to get your first choices for all vendors. An off season wedding will also be cheaper. My wedding could have been cheaper but, we wanted NEW YEARS EVE so we had less to choose from for venues ,caters and DJ's.
I would recommend picking a day at least a year away as venues get booked quickly in some areas as do photographers. Also try getting freebies from family Aunt Betty a professional photographer? (DO NOT USE PHOTOGRAPHER WHO IS NOT A PRO) Good Luck! Also consider a Wedding Planner if you have a busy schedule or need a sane voice.

it all depends what type of a wedding you want!!
you could go and get married in your local registry office with 2 rings, now that would probably cost £500!!
but if you want the big white wedding - then look at about £10000 as a minimum.
have a nice time

If you just go with basics it will be around $3000... that is not getting anything fancy...
Best advice... Set a spending limit and do NOT go over...

It depends on how much you can afford and how much you love your partner.
