The linga and yoni base are essentially black. There is a cobra that I wanted olive green. The green ink appears VERY yellowish. It didn't even look like olive green as the artist was putting it on. The artist said I could return to make it darker if I wished but I desire immediate satisfaction. I cannot wait another three whole weeks for the ink work to heal. Could anyone elaborate on this. By the way the Shiva Linga, King Cobra, Trident, Aum and Swastika look absolutely sweet. It is really an awesome new tattoo.

I must reiterate that the olive green looks REALLY yellow. I am not happy with this at all. How long will the yellow color take to transform into olive green? They even said it would be a mustard green and I am not too happy about that term. I would have prefered lime to olive green.

if it's yellow, it's going to be yellow. no yellow ink "turns" green when the skin heals. and you'll have to wait until your skin heals to get the tattoo fixed. you can't re-tattoo freshly tattooed skin. sorry you had a bad tattoo experience. but it is fixable so don't worry about it.

Congrats on your tat. Well usually artists like to do what they think might be the best, some tattoo pigments change color in time, I'd say to wait until it's healed. If you get darker ink in when it's healed it will be darker then when freshly made, maybe the tat artist didn't want it to be to dark either. Of course immediate satisfaction is great, but it's a tattoo, it will stay on you until you die, so be patient, you can't rush anything involving body-modification.
