I don't care what the doctor said, go see an allergist or tell your doctor you think it's an allergy and you want to be tested for an allergy. Anytime you have a cold that lasts over a week or so or, keeps reoccurring, then you can bet it's allergies. I'd bet on it Honey.

the cold itself is caused by a virus which only lasts for a few days. What happens next is that secondary infections set in. Since they are bacterial in origin you need antibiotics tio clear the germs out of your nasal passages and sinuses. Also you may get deafness occurring. The cold is short lived but the secondaries can be very hard to clear.Go to the doctor
and get a prescription for antibiotics. they cannot be bought over the counter

Common cold caused by influenza virus usually lasts for 4-5 days nt more than that. Our body produces immunity against it. If it lasts for weeks then its nt a common cold. May b u hav a very weak immune system. U dnt suffer 4m HIV na?
Make sure therz no immunosuppressive disease in u....

If therez no mucus there may b sme other respiratory tract infection.

I think u shud go 4 laryngoscopy...

the symptoms for me usually last about that long. the worst are weeks 2 and 3 and then they gradually go away. until then, get plenty of non-caffeinated fluids, plenty of rest, and eat chicken soup.

if you don't have colored mucuous (like red or orange), don't have a fever and don't feel body aches, i wouldn't go to the doctor if i were you. those indicate a bacterial infection, and if you don't have them, then the doctor can't do anything for you. also, flus don't usually last longer than a week.

it depends on your resistance to the Cold virus for me, it will last for 3 weeks but in your case its better you have to take multi dosage of Vitamin C 10 tabs after Meal if worse comes to worse, go and have a citrus Juice and exercise everyday, take a good rest at least 12 hours sleep from 8pm top 7am is enough.

go to the doctor. mild cold usually last less than two weeks, if you have enough nutrition, water, and rest.

Taking vitamins regularly will help you, but still you need to see your doctor for better answer.

Good luck
