If you know what LDL cholesterol is, then you have obviously had it checked. The fact that you need to ask how to reduce it in this forum is quite concerning. What did the doctor who ordered the test say? Or, did he say "your LDL cholesterol is too high, so you better figure out how to lower it before you have a stroke", "NEXT".
Have a dialogue with your doctor. Don't let him rush you away. That's what they get paid for.

See a dietician. I too, have high LDL cholestrol - at a young age. Was advised by the doctor who took the test to consult a dietician. It really helps, because the dietician will go in details in understanding your diet, your lifestyle etc, and give suggestions on how you should go about improving them. Basically, the dietician will ask you to exercise, cut down on fatty / fried / high-cholestrol food, eat more veges, eat oats ... Good luck : )

1 glass of Orange Juice in morning helps, excersising, and oatmeal for breakfast will also help. Excercise is the key though, and this can be just a simple walk around the neighborhood to maybe going to the local YMCA see what they have to offer.
