it isnt evidence at all, its all faith. even if you quote bible passages you cant validate the bible with the bible itself you need something outside to be the neutralizer just like you need a judge to be checked by the jury, the judge doesnt just reaffirm himself what if he is bias? just like darwins theory, except his word was tested what do you guys think do i make a valid point?

warren, a theories are stronger than facts because they are woven together by facts. for example gravity is a theory. fact and theory are not opposites

I think you make a perfectly valid point. The fact that I have read the bible has nothing to do with the fact that there are no facts! It is just hearsay, the killer of society, breeding ignorance in all it touches. Die-hard Christians cannot poo poo your ideas and expect you to accept theirs, when your's is perfectly tangible and their's are mythology. And that's exactly what the bible is: a storybook of Christian mythology. I ask you all: why doesn't anyone believe in the tales of Greek gods anymore? They are just as factual as bible.

What evidence? They don't need no stinkin' evidence.
When a religious jerk points whatever book they claim was written by god, I tell them that I am a scientist and I study the universe and the universe contains (trumps) the book. Then I ask them to pretend that we both just met an alien from outer space who just landed. The alien asks both of us what we knew about, say, how life came to earth. I tell him what we know and what we don't know and cite the physical evidence behind it showing the logical path to our conclusions.
Of course, the other guy would wave his scripture at the alien just as he had done with me. If the alien asked him about the validity of his claim, all he could do is say that so-and-so convinced him of it. That would inordinately draw the question as to who told so-and-so and, again, he'd have to answer that he didn't know.
As intelligent as a being from a society that had mastered space travel would have to be, whom do you think the alien would side with? Nuff said.

I think it's a valid point.
I'm a Christian. Faith is a very great part of my belief system.
I have been an agnostic. I consider agnostics to be religious people in waiting. All you need is something to base a little faith on and you can become a religious person.
Many agnostics are turned off by the smugness and judgmentalism exhibited by many Christians. But God isn't about smugness and He teaches us better uses for our judgment.
Darwin's work has been tested and much of it has been found to be unsupportable, although his observations and conclusions were a good start in a better understanding of biology.
Most modern scientists are well aware of both the strengths and weaknesses of Darwin's theories. Many also are aware of the power of faith.
A great part of science is based on faith of one sort or another. Good scientists try to disprove their theories, not stack evidence in support of them.

Darwins word was tested and the last conclusion by many in the scientific community was that it too had to be accepted primarily on faith. The Bible itself says that "it" is all about faith. Unfortunately, as a people, we no longer really believe in much of anything that we cant see or feel, so in our lives their is no faith, therefore there is no real Power. Power that would be the proof of the bibles truth.

Get some sleep red eye. You try too hard. I doubt very seriously that you have read the whole bible and have done all the research necessary to make a statement like this......God loves you anyway!
Happy Thanksgiving and we will see you later.

So i looked at the evidence for evolution and i realized something? It's as much a chreationist religion as anything else. How do you explain how the first single-celled organisms being around. Oh yes the big bang.
Its a good point though

Here is the evidence.
Per Science "Nothing Comes from Nothing".
So if there is something today, it had to come from something.
Just because we humans cannot figure out what it is, doesn't make it invalid. And therefore GOD is beyond "form" that makes "form" itself possible!

Yes I do, but I still do not believe in the theory of electromagnetism. It is little fairies that run my computer. I wrote a book to prove it.

John 20:24-29
"24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.
25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the LORD. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My LORD and my God.
29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed."
