Since you have the LX I assume you mean the sedan. Here's the thing. If you go 17in you will have to with a very low profile tire. It looks great but you will feel every bump in the road. They will stick out a bit from the car since the tires and rims will be much wider than the small sedan tires. It will also raise the car up a few inches as well, which can look silly unless you play on lowering your car as well, which will make the ride even worse. I say stick with a 15 or even a 16. Then you won't have to go as low profile, and save your ride comfort a bit.

To answer your second question. The biggest you could go are 18in. You would have to cut out the wheel wells and it would make the car's tires and rims look huge in comparison to the car. Not only that but by cutting the wheel wells you can risk seizing the engine with rain water. Good luck!
