Hello,

I bought a Tom Tom 1 and its the best thing since sliced bread, no really its very quick to setup, very user friendly, and 99% reliable. Its brillaint if you're going somewhere for the very first time and in that case it can take you almost door to door.

**The unit itself is small & light weight so it can be carried in a pocket.

**Tom Tom 1 has some very nice additional features too, like it can calculate alternative routes. Has downloadable updates, has a range of useful acessories.

**Its good value for money at the price in my opinion, if I had to give it a rating or score I'd give it 9 out of 10. I think you could pay ALOT more for another make and find it wasnt as good.

hi, I.m a truck motive force and use my tomtom one maximum days, i do no longer have a situation with it in any respect. some human beings have a tendency responsible their 'nav even as they get into situation - i'd purely remind you that which ever one you pick - it really is purely a device to help. till you comprehend the roads properly you ought to continually have a short seem on the course it recommends and a map to fulfill your self that it really is a sensible thanks to get there. Tomtom 'navs use finished postcode search for that's totally reliable. evaluate the speed digicam stuff as separate software which will artwork a similar on any gadget - how reliable it really is relies upon on whose you purchase. i in my opinion do not use it.

A map!

Seriously, why waste money on a stealable, expensive piece of kit when a map is cheaper and no less effective, if you know how to read it.
