Well, as I have seen, Argentina received nazis war criminals, like adolf eichmann and gave them asylum. They even protested when eichmann was captured by Israeli agents and sent to Israel to face trial. That is very, very, very bad.
Now, they adore fidel kastro. That is even worse. Recently it went to Argentina and the people overthere went crazy to see it and hear it. Besides, a friend of mine lived in Argentina and he told me that he was almost killed because he spoke the reality about fidel, but the argentinos went furious .
All of the above is not a recommendation and does not give a good opinion about the argentinos

- I have been in Argentina last summer (February) for 1 month.
Been in BA, Peninsula Valdes , Iguazu, El Calafate/Glaciares.
- I just adore Argentinian people.
- Your Castellano, is sweet and nice to hear and speak.
Pronunciation and Intonation are so soft and happy!
- The country is gorgeous. It is so European, with the warmth and the beauty on top of it.
- The guys and girls are very sympathetic.
- They have a warm heart and try to enjoy their life the best they can, even if the economy of the country is not so good.
- They have great football!
- The "flaquitas" have beautiful long hair and take care of their looks!
- I felt no aggressivity in the soul of the people.
- The people are funny and "sunny".
- There is dulce de leche! And Ice cream from Munchis and Freddo's.
- The meat is good! And Chinchulinas and Morcilla!
- The people are of mixed origins, which makes a beautiful society. Especially with so many Italians there!
- The city of Buenos Aires is my favorite in the World with Rome! (Even if I am not a big fan of Romans! )

I heard that many Argentinians ask for the cittadinanza italiana. (I am myself French of 100% Italian origins). I hope you have not to hard in Italy!

PS: We know some Italo-Argentinians in Munich/Alemania too!

I have been to Argentina and I noticed how many Argentinians were of Italian descent, although I was very anxious to visit Patagonia and meet people of Welsh descent. I liked Argentina and its people enormously and Buenos Aires was a great delight to visit. In fact, I can hardly wait to return. The people: outgoing, enthusiastic, likeable and fun. The tango suits the people as a national dance form.
