I don't have one but my friend has two Puggles, had three.
Not sure where you can get one. I live in Australia; not sure where my friend got hers.

Well, all of her Puggles were hard to house-break and were a little difficult to train (obedience wise). It didn't take more than 3 weeks to fully house-train either of them.
One of hers is more Beagle than Pug so she has the Beagle bark. The other two bark like any other dog.
She had three. Her oldest one died 4 months ago at age 12. She now has a 3 year old male and a 5 month old female. I would say life expectancy to be 10-14 years but am not sure exactly.
I am not sure of any hereditary diseases but her current male sometimes had trouble breathing at night.
She got her first one (the female that has passed) from the pound when she was 8 for $120. She got her 3 year old from a 'professional breeder' for $500 and her 5 month old female from a different 'breeder' (from the newspaper) for $310. I'm guessing the price can range anywhere from $250-$500. I wouldn't buy one but if I did, I wouldn't pay more than $300 for one.

good now puggles are no longer seen a breed, yet some decent breeds began out as mutts or mixed breeds. working example, French Bulldogs have been bred in the mid 1800s from generally happening English Bulldogs and the french canines Terrier Boule. so as that they've been mixes... Bichon Frise have been bred from poodles and the barbet (water spaniel) so as that they've been mixes, too. Dobermans have been bred from "the Pinscher, the Beauceron, the Rottweiler, the Thuringian Shepherd canines, the black Greyhound, the excellent Dane, the Weimaraner, the German Shorthaired Pointer, the Manchester Terrier and the previous German Shepherd canines - now extinct. the suitable ratios of blending, or maybe the suitable breeds that have been used, continues to be uncertain to at present time, inspite of the undeniable fact that many experts have self assurance that the Doberman Pinscher is a mix of a minimum of four of those breeds." So...... maybe puggles would be a fad or maybe sometime they are going to grow to be a breed of their own. i do no longer propose breeding puggles nonetheless because of the fact there are already many puggles in shelters around the place I stay in Illinois who're waiting to be observed.

The best place to find one is in a shelter, otherwise you are contributing to greedy and unethical breeding practices.

Because this is a mixed breed, there is no way to know for sure what traits it will have, because it will depend on whether it gets more dominant genes from the beagle or from the pug. Look at the traits of both breeds, and look at the list of health problems for both breeds. You could end up with the traits/problems of either, or a combination of both.

If a mixed breed is what she is looking for, I'm sure her local shelter or humane society have plenty to choose from.

I don't get it......people complain about paying minimal adoption fees at a shelter or humane society, yet they'll buy a mixed breed puppy that was produced on purpose for $200- $400. Think about it people..... you're lining the pockets of a puppy mill.

I didn't know that they were naming mutts now. GameGiver's so sarcastic. Anyway, I've never heard of one but instead of waiting for us Yahoo Answer clowns to give you the wrong answer, why don't you just type Puggle into your Yahoo or anybody's search and see what comes up. Because I can go ahead and tell you that the jokes won't stop with me. Like, "My dog peed and left a puggle." "Ain't that an old eighties cartoon?" You get the idea.

I was looking for a pug too. There are lots of mixed pugs.
I change to a German Shorthaired Pointer and I love this dog soooooo much! I wanted either a pug or a dalmatian. The Pointer looks kinda like a Dalmatian. Pugs have huge eye issues. Expensive blinding eye issues. And dalmatians do too. Good luck in your search. May you be as happy in your choice as I am with Tatum Paige.
