because she was the incarnation of the Queen of Demons, Lilith? that is why Jesus cast seven devils out of her--seven is lilith's sacred number and Lilith was often called the "woman of whoredom"-- Magdelene was a whore, that is not a biblical mistake, the mistake arises because christians do not believe in Lilith and Jews do not acknowledge christ, but the union of christ and magdelene is symbolic of both of them seeing past their differences and embracing their greatest adversaries

i just don't understand why is it so hard for people to accept that she was a prostitute .... that actually makes her grow bigger in my eyes - for having the guts to leave her bad way of life for something better - God

I do think that is a grand example of God's willingness to forgive. I'm not so sure on her being the incarnation of Lilith (though the numerology of seven does at least show some connection). From what I've learned through my various mentors, Lilith lives in Nod, the fabled land that is east of Eden. Supposedly, after the suicide of Judas, he entered Nod as opposed to Hell to become the first vampire.
I don't claim any of this to be absolute truth, but you must admit that the theory behind such claims is at least of some interest. ;p
Blessed be my friend.

She was a "woman of whoredom" among other things she had done in her life. God is a god of forgivness as long as you repent and dont go back to what you had done but even so god can see into your heart he knowes if you are truly sorry for what you had done. So yes That story showes you are never to "bad" to be forgivin and loved by god

I believe that Jesus loved her, as a man. He was human. Why do the fanatics turn to stone at the mere mention that Jesus was not a virgin? I don't understand. The fact that he probably enjoyed sex like the rest of us, just makes him a well rounded person. He liked good wine and food. He did not like religious fanatics either. I like to think that he and Mary were lovers.
