I created our own. I just put You're Invited on the front. The paper was folded in half (up and down...no the skinny way) and the top inside had a picture of my son (not a professional one) taped. Then just put the information on the inside and the RSVP information.

I customized the font with the colors that my son was attracted too (at the time blue and green) Try Microsoft Word. Play around with the Word Art feature. I loved it. I got so many compliments on the invitations. It was so much more personable. Not some generic store bough invitiation that 1 million parents have sent out that year.

Good luck.

Gosh, 1 yr-olds don't read, let alone understand much... but do write something that his/her parent/caretaker can read aloud to him/her!

Something like,

Dear Junior,
Happy birthday! You're a big boy now and I'm proud of you. Mommy/Daddy loves you.

Hugs & kisses,
Mommy/Daddy

That's more than enough. Less is more.

By the way, the best present for your child is for you to be there on his/her birthday. That would speak a much louder message. Why can't you do that?

i could think of that that's quite plenty suitable. such as you suggested, in the undesirable financial circumstances, that's an incredible option to sending out birthday invitations. only only remember to be attentive to every person will verify their emails-that way you be attentive to that they have won the e-vite! :)
