I doubt it, but it is possible. He covered it in Judeaism if that's what He was doing. He was a rabbi, wasn't He?

Fertile and creative brains can shift Jesus to any place but history is different.
India was mentioned in the Old Testament book of Esther. Esther 1:1
Persian empire extended from India to Ethiopia. After Esther nowhere India was mentioned in Bible.

Dear Ray G,

What exactly are the "hidden chapters of the Bible"? Jesus would not practice Buddhism because it would contradict his claims to deity and being the only way to salvation.

Also where else in the Bible do you find Jesus preaching Buddhism in Israel?

I think your assertion is unfounded and lacks any solid evidence. It's an interesting thought but just doesn't have anything to back it up.

Kindly,

Nickster

I am not sure about India but there is a lot of speculation that he was studying with another religious sect that was extremely spiritually enlightened for a number of years that are not accounted for in his life. Some believe this group was the Essenes.

Not true.

Jesus was a good practicing Jew, was known as the carpenter's son, was accustomed to going to synagogue, and was obedient to His parents.....

All of these things are clear by reading the un-hidden chapters of the Bible.... no need for wacko hidden texts.

it has some merit in that much of his adult life is not recorded, so we are froced to wonder where jesus was for all those years. there are also legends of an "Issa" in kashmir and surrounding areas. when you compare jesus' ideas to much of buddhism you will see the similarities, and of course buddhism is much much older.

but, of course we'll never know for sure. to me it's an interesting proposition, but nothing more.

i do not know whether he preached it in Israel but it is my firm belief that most of the Jesus preachings were influenced by Buddhism. one can easily draw that conclusion after going through the preachings of lord Buddha and Jesus.

why are you worry about it? I think if there is god he is not Jew, not because I'm being racist or something, no, It's because god has no preferences and he is equal for all, so by taking this simple and logical fact, all the bible and relatives are no important, the important things are in our heart, in our family to take care of them, our friends, everything in this time, in this moment, no other life, no more suffering, no more lies.

There is such a huge gap in Jesus' life in the bible that he could have been doing anything! Sure, for all we know, he could have been a Buddhist.
