The Future looks really bright. The reason behind is that lot of companies which use their old legacy system that has been developed with the old Tools like Mainframe or Cobol are upgrading the system with the new stuff like Java and Dotnet. Moreover embedded system is also coming into our day-day life. since this is in the inital stage lot of wonders we cant see at this point of time. But as the years pass it will play a major role. We can monitor our home from a remote place and adjust the lights and switch off fans from remote place. All these are possible through SOftware.
Life will be cool if you chose your career as software professional.

i think it has a great future bcoz in todays life computer has becamed a good source in every field and is necessary in day to day life and for that softwares r necessary so it have a great future.
