Well first of all, what is waking up.? If it is you your eyes will be wide open and almost alert. Now if we are talking about Mr. Winky, you will have the sudden urge of having company for about 1 hour or long, could be shorter. best of luck.

If you want to know if you are awake or not, jump off a chair. If you descend slowly, you are sleeping. If you come down quickly, normal speed you are awake. Also flip the light switch. If it doesn't work, try another switch. If both lights don't turn on, you're sleeping. If the lights work with no problem, you're awake.
