Anyone else out there have a crazy cat who loves water?I was in the shower the other day turn around and theres my cat in the shower with me.What the hell?She's obsessed with the toilet and the bathroom sink.Anyone else got some funny stories?

I love crazy cats! I have one named Shasta and one named Mrs. Columbo. We have this battery operated toy helicopter launcher that sends a toy helicopter across the room. Shasta is nuts about it! She will run and position herself crouched and ready on the third step in the stairwell to the basement waiting for me to launch this thing. When I launch it, she tags it in mid air and chases it as it descends downstairs. Moments later she will bring it back up and drop it at my feet and go crouch on the step again. Over and over she will do this! I've never known a cat to "fetch" but she does. Ya gotta love 'em! My cat won't come into the shower, but she will push the curtain back and just watch while I shower. What a perve!

Yes, my little kitten that I have had for 2 weeks and have yet to name seems obsessed with water. Whenever I am in the bathtub he jumps up on the side of the tub and acts like he is going to jump right in. Mr. Fuzzy, my big gray and white cat, used to be obsessed with water and do the same thing till once when I had ran some bath water and went to get something he fell in. He came down the hall yowling and carrying on and he was soaking wet. He never went near the bathwater again. LOL.

My kitties Puss and Boots (Boots passed away almost a week ago) are crazy too! Before Boots died everytime I was in the bathroom with the door shut, he would stick his paw under the door palm side up and just hold it still until I said something to him or threw something at it to play with. Also I think he knew what we do in the bathroom, one day I go in and he has pooped in the middle of the bathtub. His litter box had just been cleaned I guess he thought he was just doing what we do in there. Also they love just walking around in the bathtub after a shower!

Thats completely normal acualy there are two type of cats that love water,
The turkish Van- they love swimming in pools and everything
The bengal, they have a huge fasination with water, not as much as the turkish van

What breed of cat is she? I heard Egyptian Maos (spelling) looove water. If you have a pool, they will swim in it. Haha, my cats hate water.

my cat luvs running water. She's luvs watchin it but runs away when she sees one of us (human) watchin her, shes afraid to get dumped in! weird but we did have to give her a bath when she was dirrty. She would drink tab water instead of the healthier bottled water we offer her-simply bc she likes how it drips.

cats are obsessed with bathroom water i think.....my dog has to be in the bathroom with me.....after i get out of the shower...she thinks she has to lick my feet ( she licks the water off of my feet)....and she has plenty of water in her bowl.....so i think it is the freshness of the water.....

maine coons are also supposed to love water. mine hate it too. (but they are obsessed with drinking out of my fish tank even with clean fresh water nearby).
