For fast videos there's YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/
For anything else use a torrent program from the links at the bottom of the message. There completely free and clean and use very little CPU and memory.
To download videos from YouTube and any other site :
Get Firefox from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/
And then install the Download Helper extension from https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/3006/ or this one Video Downloader https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2390
It works great for me.

Since the videos are in the .flv format you need to get a flv player. You can get a very good one (and completely free ) here http://www.download.com/FLV-Player/3000-2139_4-10505954.html?tag=tab_pub

If you want to convert them into another format ( mobile phone, iPods, mp4...and anything else) use this awesome free program called Super http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html

Also you can use this site http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php and copy/paste the url's from the page with the video there but personally I'd recommend using Firefox

Firefox is the best !!!

And for movies and anything else use http://www.torrentportal.com/ and http://www.bittorrent.com/ and http://www.torrentspy.com/
To download from this site you need a torrent program like these :
BitComet http://www.bitcomet.com/ or
Azureus http://azureus.sourceforge.net/

The best one out is File Sharing Revolution, it connects to kazaa, limewire, edonkey and more networks from this single program and has no spyware at all. Its very rare to have one as good as this. Limewire is ok if you want a bad mess of adware, and its not as fast as file sharing revolution. Youtube quality of videos and sound has gotten so terrible. They used to just slow the incoming speed of the connection so they can handel more people, but now they downgraded there quality. Bearshare has a small problem with adware, and it takes to long to get enough sources. Filesharing revolution is the best around, its a better remake of kazaa lite (the free one) which I liked until they stopped making the program and I can't find any copy of it anymore. Kazaa lite resurrection is not any good either, but that is word of the mouth..

bearshare used to be great at everything: programs, documents, images, video, audio, the lot, and its subsidiery bearflix progrm is one of the best for video and image. then the did something and bearshare is music and video, bearflix video and images now.
Limewire is still one of the best
theres always morpheus, but im not sure u'll like it
stuff like azurus is good if u can be bothered finding torrents for sources.
if u wanna see the lot chech downloads.com, or go tho the page in wikipedia on peer to peer programs and go by one of the links

I would take the files from lime wire and suppress them into another media format, when you download something from limewire they are usually wma files.

you can get a free program and use the trial versions to suppress your music. from wma to mp3

It will take up less space to download when suppressed to mp3

**ALSO**

I LOVE THIS WEBSITE http://www.blogmusik.net/

There are several clients that operate under the BitTorrent protocol which are excellent. One of the most popular is Azureus.
