Use a demi permanent color over it in a darker nuetral shade,it should cut some of the red. Redken has demi colors that work good. You will have to go to a beauty supply store to get it. Good luck.

Since you are going darker, you do not need to use a permanent haircolor. (if you do use one, you will not get as dark as you want anyway because all permanent haircolors have a lightening agent or "bleaching" chemical in them) I used Clairol herbal essences (semi permanent) when I was going from blonde to auburn brown. They work great. Any semi-permanent color line will work. Just read the label carefully to be sure you are getting semi-permanent and not permanent.
You just wash it in your entire head, no need to touch up roots. It does not damage hair.
this is a very easy do-it-yourself project!
If the color is too dark or bright, give it a few washes, and some of the color will fade out. If you want it brighter, buy another box in a brighter color or just color more often. You really want to saturate each hair strand, so buy as many boxes as you need to get all of your hair done.
Hope this helps! Good luck!

Your not completely satisfied??? And why would you be? What in the world are you doing? Over 70% of women today want what you have naturally.
If you must go darker...it's gonna cost bucks on a regular basis. With dark headed girls going lighter....or light headed girls going darker......there is ALWAYS that yuck red stage that looks absolutely cheap. Find a really good hair stylist that will help you by-pass that stage. But don't kid yourself....it's gonna cost. AND don't try it alone....you will absolutely ruin your hair. (But then we've all ready established your doing that.)

be very careful as your hair could all fall out. This girl at work told me her friend dyed her hair 3 times in a row and it became so dry that most of it fell out? I guess this is why we should spend those mega bucks huh?

in case you dye it darkish crimson it may desire to grow to be too darkish attempt a lighter crimson shade and leave it on for under ten minutes or so.. it rather is extra user-friendly to restoration a lighter shade than a darker one i'm shocked your medium brown became gray... because of the fact a med brown many times has crimson in it except this is an ash brown... platinum has the two blue undertones or eco-friendly.. so absolute to counter act that a crimson ought to be used good success chemist

TAKE A BREAK OF 15 DAYS BEFORE U DYE UR HAIR AGAIN.....GO FOR ATLEAST 3-4 HOT OIT TREATMENTS BEFORE U DYE UR HAIR(TO MAINTAIN TEXTURE)
THEN TRY THE DARK BROWN COLOUR FROM LOREAL.....BUT TAKE UR COLOUR TO THE SALOON....TRY NOT TO DO IT URSELF....
IF U CANT PAY THE BUCKS....JUST TRY IT URSLEF SINCE U JUST NEED TO GET RID OF THE TINT.....SHOULD NOT BE VERY DIFFICULT....
GOOD LUCK BUDDY!!!!
