I am 16 years old, almost 17 ina few weeks. I want out of here.
I've heard you can't move out until you are 18 years old, unless your parents agree with you moving out earlier. What is the law??

The Kansas Law is 18 yrs old. Check with local County Attorney Office. Being out on your own is NOT a bed of roses, and you are wanting out in the beginning of winter in Kansas? Good luck kid,you are going to need it. Juvy Hall isn't what you might think it is going to be like, maybe you should reconsider and sit down with a Juvy Court Officer and talk these problems out with your Parents. Ask at local courthouse if you can talk to someone to help you with problems at home with your parents.

Well, generally speaking, 18 is the age of majority (when you are considered an adult). In some situations you can have the courts declare you an emancipated minor ... to do this you usually must be able to fully support yourself financially, and there are other requirements as well.
