my small child of 4 yrs got operated for apendix can anyone tell what could the cause?

THere r many causses of appendicitis.
1.Lodgging of food debris in d appendix during its passage through illeocecal junction.
2. Invasion of appendix by ascaris (a human gut parasite)
3. Infection through abscess from other organs like bladder, colon, urinary bladder etc......
There may b many other causes other than these major causes of appendicitis.....

Many times it's ideopathic (unknown cause). Certainly, it was nothing you did or didn't do.
Appendicitis is very common (I think it's about 1-in-7 people at some point in there lives), and can strike at any age, even small children.

No one even know what the appendix is or was, everything about it is theory. No one knows why it goes bad. Sometimes it's by accident.
