I also had dental work recently, but i have no tooth ache. The reason I haven't gone to the doctor is because I have no health insurance. If this is an infection, what are odds I could fight it off? What are the risks if I try this?

It could be anything. I also wish you should not have cancer, but the symptoms you are telling make us to have worries. There is nothing wrong to get it checked up by medical experts and I feel you should immediately contact a surgical Oncologist to evaluate the position. If there is no cancer it is perfectly fine. Your having insurance or not is not a question at all but you should ensure that the dreadful disease is not there because CANCER IS STILL AN ENIGMA. so please contact the oncologist immediately.

Wish you all the best-.

If it's an infection, you'll probably need some medication to make it go away. Otherwise, it could spread and become serious.

If it's cancer (which I doubt), then it's better to find out EARLY when it can be caught or treated, because late stage cancer can be a death sentence.

Find a doctor that will take payments, or maybe a doctor will look at you if you can trade services, like update his computers or do landscaping at his office or fix his car or something? Or do you have something you can sell (or pawn) and get the money needed?

Take care of yourself! You only have one life and this is it, so don't let a fear of illness or lack of money keep you from staying healthy!

Sounds like the signs of strep throat. Get checked out asap.
Antibiotics will take care of any infections you might have. You can get generic prescriptions which are way cheaper and work just as good. Go to a clinic in your area. Check the yellow pages under physicians and start making some calls. Good Luck!

No, I had this same thing. It is either a cyst, or a swollen but painless lymph node. Whenever mine occured I had an eye infection. The next time you call your doctor, mention it and if there is any cause for alarm, I'm sure they will call you in.

You sound like you have almost the same thing I do ... Only I have a bad tooth ... but my glands are swollen and my ears are swollen and now im getting this weird rash on my forehead near my left eye and my eye is watering alot ... I plan on calling a dentist in the morning but this rash on my forehead is really nasty and im afraid no one will want to help me with the tooth and it needs help NOW !! I wouldnt worry about cancer ... You probaby have an infection and that can be cleared up fast .. Maybe call the dentist that worked on your tooth ... Im sure its not cancer ...

Dental work recently sounds like infection & abyses probably. Try going back to the dentist, they should know if it is & probably should have given you antibotics at the time. Try finding a free clinic. If it is an absys it coul burst & go through your system Making you very ill. Not something to play with.

Go to the doctor. The fact that you now have signs of infection after having dental work done could mean that you have a neck abscess. This needs to be looked at by a doctor ASAP!

Sounds like an infection like of the sinuses or your throat, etc. You can fight it off but it will hurt and take forever. I tried it before with no insurance.
