The people that aren't in my life are there for a reason, I can tell you that.
I don't think that I would be the same person if I were surrounded by different people. So, my life is the way it is because of the people in my life (and my own decisions, of course)

Do you mean that the people in our lives were predetermined by a higher being to meet us? If so, then no I don't believe that. I believe that everything is predetermined but not by any intelligence. It is all just a movie playing from start to finish and no one can change anything that happens. There is no freewill or choice. They are just illusions.

Not sure. There are clearly people that I don't need in my life and never needed to cross paths with in the first place, but then there are people that have improved my life. So I'm kinda in the middle with this issue.

Yes, everyone is in my life for a reason and I get to determine what that reason is.

If you believe that everyone is in your life for a reason, then for you it is so. If you believe there is no reason, then for you it will also be so. If you choose to see wonder in life, it is there. If you choose life to be meaningless, it is. You have great power to create in your life and this power begins with your thoughts.

YES.

Some are there tormenting you, because on some level of awareness you feel you deserve to be tormented.

Others are there bringing joy and happiness into your life, because you are worthy and deserving of all things that are good.

Yes, I'm here right now because you asked this question. You chose to be where you are and wherever you are, you deserve to be there.
