What do you think of the state of the church in America? Healthy, unhealthy, Biblical, unbiblical? I know that's a very broad question but I think a valid one.

i think that religion has become a mockery. i hate that so many people see fit to rip it down and insult it. but hey, freedom of speech.

It is much better off today than it was 25 years ago. I say this because people who truly love the Lord Jesus, are far more aware of what's going on in the world, due to Mega Churches, The Net, and Talk Radio, not to mention the Big Christian TV networks.

How do the churches line up against the Bible, not just in this country, but around the world?

Do the churches abide by Jesus' words to be no part of the world or do they meddle in political affairs of government?

Do the churches fight to keep their congregations clean or do they allow homosexuals to be a part of the flock?

Do the churches support worldly rulerships to straighten out mankind's problems or do they look to God's Kingdom to handle that?

Do the churches have preachers who steal titles that only belong to God like "Reverend," "Father," or "Holy Father?"

Do the churches support Bible truths or do they promote false doctrines like the trinity, hellfire, and purgatory?

Do the churches encourage their congregations to shun pagan holidays like Halloween, Christmas, and Easter?

So are the churches in America and around the world healthy or downright terminally ill? The answer should be obvious.

I think it is in a state of transition. God is in the process of purifying His Church. We have seen the purging of leaders who hid secret sins and denominations falling away from the truth of Scripture. What bothers me is so many churches get involved in things that are more about "feeling" and "emotions" rather than solid doctrine. They put on puppet shows, plays, lots of smoke and noise, but not solid teaching. They teach what appeals to the flesh, that we have something to do with our salvation, that we aren't really that bad in the flesh, that Christ's work on the cross wasn't enough, etc.. If we would get back to the teachings of Scripture, God's total sovereignty, our election as saints, the total depravity of the flesh and God's irresistible grace, we may lose numbers, but be more grounded in the truth and a stronger body.

I think that the church is dropping the ball in America. We have become too concerned about what the politcally correct thing is and have lost what the Biblical thing is. We need to get back to the basics and try to please God and not man. I think we have become the lukewarm church that God says in Revelation He will spew out of His mouth.

Depends completely on the individual church unless you mean the Body of Christ as a whole... if that's the case, as a Christian I would say "Unbliblical"

many people are so careless. they say that they are christain, but they act worse then atheists. the churches are....well, not good. some still try to follow the word of God, but a lot of them go to church only as a family tradition. it's very sad.

american christians are doomed because apes are running the show. repent, you heretical sons and daughters of whores! you must return to the true faith founded by San Pedro (my homeboy, we're like this x, see) and bask in the glory of the Church in Rome! you will not gain entrance through the Pearly Gates without the Church's blessing! May God have mercy on your souls should you refuse! Heretics!

...and God bless. hehehe...

are you asking the condition of the church? If so I would say....it has problems and there is much concern. In fairness it also has much good and many good people

I believe we have departed from the faith. We are like the church at Laodecea (spelling?) Because we are neither cold nor hot God will spew us from his mouth.
