Can we say in English we have 26 pronounciations and not letters (alphabets). In fact it has a minimum of 52 letters. All such western languages are so illogical that they have two letters for each pronunication. So we should stop syaing EBGLSIH has only 26 alphabets.

We have *ONE* alphabet
There are 26 letters in the English alphabet
We are clever so we can use upper AND lower case
Pronunciation is how a letter sounds - nothing to do with a letter

and theres no 52 letters, its still 26, ur probably a little drunk,
the capital letter system was devised to make it easier to distinguish things like names from just another word, and to make it a littele clearer when ur starting a new sentence. what language do u mean is simpler anyway? u should try chinese now thats an illogical languge to write in.

Capital letters are used for highlighting or expressing the anger, shouting or something which needs more attention. Small letters can be used ne where.
