I would wrap it somehow so it does not dry out in the refrigerator.

Yes, but I would'nt stuff it until you are ready to cook it. I put a wrung out , clean, wet dish towel over it to keep the skin from drying out. Store it in the covered roasting pan or a garbage bag when in the fridge. Happy T Day

Yeah it wont hurt the turkey. However, It is better to go ahead and do your marinade and allow it to sit over night marinading before you cook it insteead of letting it sit dry.
