Dear Crystal***
I have very low blood pressure, anaemia and before anyone says eat this and eat that, I have always had low blood pressure, anaemia and constantly (seasonal), have sinus attacks.. So much so I had to have x2 operations to clear the right and the left sinus passages. etc, etc.
I have always had to take iron tablets, which combat the dizzy and tired feelings. The minute I do not take the tablets, and monthly vitamin B injections, I start the dizzy / tired feelings again.
By the way, are you a small lady. I am 41kg and 5ft3". Small lady's are most likely to suffer from low blood pressure. You must also take an extremely good vitamin tablet and caltrate plus for your bones etc. DAILY.
and, having sinusitus (chronic) leaves you feeling "drunk", lightheaded, because of all the congestion. Big worry is when your nose (the gooeeeeeyyyy stuff inside) cannot be "blown" out.
You need to get homeopathic drops to be taken daily, called Sambuccus Comp. Drops "Weleda". I don"t know if you can get this where you are. I use it daily. It definately relieves your sinus, and relieves the dizzy, vertigo feeling. If it does not you must be referred to an ear, nose and throat specialist by your doctor.
love peppa-anne
**p.s. do try vit. B and iron tab's.

Dizziness can be caused by many different health issues. A few possibilities are inner ear problems, allergies, and anxiety. I would recommend visiting a ENT doctor and then another if you aren't satisfied with the findings. My husband had some horrible bouts of dizziness a few years ago - he was unable to work. He was misdiagnosed many times, but he eventually found a good combination of meds that made his life so much better. He's off the daily meds and he still gets a little dizzy once in a while, but he can now get through the whole work day with no problems at all. He still uses clonazepam once in a while.
I've learned this is a tricky topic, and there aren't cookie cutter solutions as I'd hoped a doctor could provide. Hang in there!

The nurse or doctor you talked to is most likely correct. It does sound like you have a case of vertigo. Usually this is caused by a build up of sinus drainage in your inner-ear.
I had this problem once, as have other people I have known. Usually you will simply need to clear up any sinus problems you have and the dizziness will eventually go away. However If the dizzy feeling does not improve or gets worse, it may be advisable to seek advice from another doctor, perhaps go to the clinic but see a different individual.
But, vertigo can take a long time to clear up, so don't panic if you progress slowly.

It could be anything from an ear infection to vertigo. Including but not limited to blood pressure being to high are low, not getting enough to eat, not getting enough rest, ear infection and vertigo. A sinus infection could cause your ears to get blocked and cause your dizziness/imbalance. If your taking medication even OTC that could be part of the problem as well.

Did they test you for anemia? You may need to take an iron supplement.
