Both. I grew up as a minister's kid, but I left and came back to Christianity. So, although I grew up in this religion, I returned by choice. I feel that Christianity is right. I've seen far too many answered prayers for God not to be real

I am a Christian by choice. I was brought up in a Christian home, but at one period in my life, I decided to become a Christian and it was the best decision that I have ever made.

I was not raised in any faith. I chose to be a Christian. Of course, I live in what was once a Christian country so that is what was around. It was kind of 'in the air'. But that was 30 years ago. Things have changed a bit, but still I think people tend to become Christian in the U.S.

No matter what a person says, upbringing plays a major (if not the most major) role in a person's religion. If this were not so we would see a roughly equal number of Jews, Muslims, Christians, etc wherever we went in the world. The US wouldn't be mostly Christian and India wouldn't be mostly Hindu.

I was raised a christian but in my teens I fell away from that. Shorty after I made a decision to follow Christ by my own will. And to this day I am more that certain that I have made the right choice.

Both. I'm so glad my parents raised me as a Christian. It has made my life so much easier, than having to go through a lot of problems other young people have. So I have made the choice to continue living for Him.

Christian by choice, definitely. Why anyone would reject the love of God Almighty is beyond me. No religion other than Jesus has such compassion, and promise. Why go for second best when the best is yours for the taking.

Choice I was 33 when I accepted Christ.

You cannot be a Christian because of upbringing, it is a choice you must make for yourself to accept or reject Jesus.

Everyone must choose the path that they will follow. I don't really think that Christianity has that big a grip on today's American culture.

I did not have a Christian upbringing. In fact I hated God as a teenager. But he changed my heart and caused me to choose him.
