I saw a triangle shaped pill on this page (see further down or search for "triangle") is that what your pill looks like? If so, describe the pill in the pill searcher on the resource's main site.

***UPDATE***
SEE:
http://www.pharmer.org/node/4254
In it, it states
little pink pill with sb and a line over it then on back 4 with a line over it

You didn't mention the shape?
If the pill is sort of a distorted pentagon shape, then your pill is:
Avandia 4mg (treats type 2 diabetes)

***NOTE***
AS MENTIONED BELOW, IT IS NOT A GOOD IDEA TO EVER TAKE A PILL THAT YOU ARE NOT 100% SURE AS TO WHAT IT IS AND YOU DO NOT KNOW THE AGE. IF YOUR GOAL WAS JUST TO IDENTIFY THE PILL, THAT'S FINE, DIG/POST IN THAT www.pharmer.org SITE AND YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIGURE IT OUT, BUT I WOULD ADVISE AGAINST TAKING ANY MEDICINE LYING AROUND.

If it is a superman shape, not a round or oval pill, I am about 99% sure they would be a vitamin. It is very difficult for clandestine drug labs to press any shape of pill other than round.

This is definitely some kind of over the counter drug or vitamin for children.

Try to nibble on one corner, if it is sweet or sugary at all it is made for kids, if it is extremely sour and metallic tasting it could be something illicit.

As a physician, my best advice is to flush them down the toilet. It doesn't matter what they are. Even if you get 25 answers telling they are some wonderful drug...Flush them...you don't know date or origin, they could be bogus or even toxic. All medications should be in labeled containers with specific dates...out of date drugs deteriorate and may cause reactions...Don't take a chance.

The pink ones are Avandia. A diabetes medicine that controls blood sugar.

Don't taste them. Don't nibble. Flush them down the toilet. If you're smart, you won't listen to anyone who tells you to do anything less.
