You hear about people doing it all the time but I'm not sure how one would choose. They are both your children and both in most cases are anticipated and loved already. That would be tough. But I think you should be thinking more about the love and care for the twins and quit worrying over something that could happen. And the more you worry the less you can completely be there for your wife. Best of luck and congratulations.

I know exactly what your feeling. While I don't have twins, I do have a son, and I worry every day about the things that could be happening to him while I'm away from him, or the things that could happen to us while we are together, what crazy decisions I may have to make if we end up in this dangerous situation or that horrifying situation. My mind reels with the "But what if"s all the time. It just shows that you are used to having everything under control and you are using you organizational skills to try and cope with the highly unorganized and uncontrolled/unscripted/unpredictable existence that is being a parent, and to twins no less! Surprisingly, your feelings and concerns are completely normal (yes, normal!) and you should seek out the support of your family and friends during this difficult transition of self-survival to keep-the-kids-safe-above-all.

You can tell you have never been a parent before, and for just this reason-us parents will forgive you for asking such a question! Seriously, not to be mean either! Sure, we all have worries about our children-even when their full grown, and the ugly thought of one of them dying is beyond unbearable for a loving parent to think. So, when those thoughts enter your mind, try to replace them with happy thoughts of how those little babes are going to bring so much joy to your lives!

Are they identical or fraternal?Same sac or not?I'm not identical to my twin sister and I had a serious cold when I was born.Eat or breathe. The twins may have problems at birth and will most definitely be premature because most twins are.You shouldn't worry about these things because then it adds stress to you and your family. They will probably be fine. You are all in my prayers.

You should love each child as much as you can hope for the best and let God handle any situations

How morbid... don't worry about such things. Planning your own kid's funeral before they're even born? WTF? You REALLY need to get a hobby, and I mean that seriously.
