I have some movies and I want to take snapshots of scenes and then compile them into one in order to make a gif animation. What
is an easy free program I can download to copy the clips what is a program I can use to compile them the easiest? Does quick time pro work?

I tried doing the print screen thing and it did not work. I just got off google and download.com and there was too many programs that came up when I typed in mpeg player. I tried Windows media player and realPlayer but neither allows me to save or copy an image from video.

I usually just use ctrl+prt scr (next to pause button on keyboard) and paste into Photoshop. I imagine you could do the same with Microsoft Photo Editor as well.

You can use xing mpeg player to take the snapshot of the video. you can then use the snapshots to make animation.

mpeg player will help u do that search it in google as mpegplayer
