Icing for cookies?

I need a recipe for a quick drying icing for cookies.

u can try this quick drying glace icing, very simple, also can be used for cakes.

3/4 cup sifted icing sugar
2 tsp butter
3 tsp boiling water

1. Mix these to a firm paste in a small heatproof bowl.
2. Place over a pan of simmering water, stir until smooth n glossy.
3. Remove fr heat, tint with food colouring.
4. Spread a small amount of icing evenly of top of each cookie.
5. Decorate with coloured sprinkles or leave plain...

~3 cups confectioners sugar
~1/4 cups milk
~1/2 tsp. vanilla
~dash of salt
