I have memorized the prolouge for Romeo and Juliet and now I have to say it for extra credit. We can either say it for our teacher for 50 points or in front of the class for 75 points. I do not like saying things in front of people but I really need the extra credit. But then again the thought of being in a room with my english by myself scares me because she is creepy.(can you say awkward) What should I do? I cannot decide which way is less creepy!

Go for 75 points.

Close your eyes if you have to. You'll concentrate better that way anyway. And keep your hands behind your back. That way you can fidget but no one will notice, and it will also give you a more confident-looking posture.

Public speaking is a life skill you just have to learn to do. Might as well tackle the fear now.

I had to do this in 7th grade(unfortunately it wasn't for extra credit) T_T*Cry*
otherwise I would definitely suggest saying in front of the class because you'll be in front of your teacher anyway, so might as well make it less awkward by adding all your classmates, right^_^;; But really, if you know the extra credit is worth it stand in front of your classmates. Gather your courage and I kow you'll be great^_^

Do it in front of class. You may regret not getting the 75 pts. instead of 50. It really is a lot more awkward having your teacher watch you while you say it.
