My miniature Dachund is pre-mature due to the death of the mother, will this create any health problems or any different in size or weight of the dog?

Not if she is kept warm and has sufficient nutrition..Ya ought to see my nephew's wife..She was a 2 pound preemie, but is about 5;6" and 300 pounds!
the puppy needs to be fed every 2 hours, around the clock..really
I always set my alarm to get up every 2 hours..

Because she didn't get the first milk (colostrum) from her mother, she didn't get the antibodies that protect her from disease, so until she gets her first shots you must be extra careful about not exposing her to potential sources of infection.

Otherwise she should be fine.

we will need more info... how early was he? is he eating normally who is feeding and what?if he lives ...he will gain what his genetics say in the way of size. and nutrition plays a role in over all health.

What do you mean by premature? Was it delivered early via c-section because the mom was dying? And if so, how early? And how old is it?
