its pathetic, hes 6.1 and im 5.3 we are both good looking but with his height he has the model look....
he sometimes tells me how he loves tall girls.. and the next day hes laughing at my height... (in a playful way)
but it makes me insecure that i know he likes tall ones, and im not tall!! i always feel inferior to him because of that.... i feel he is out of my league... (hes like a taller brad pitt... im just like a kind of sexy next door neighbor)

You should tell him what you just said in here. As playful and probably harmless his comments were, it does bother you and hurt you. Ask him to stop. Nobody is out of anyone's league. We're all equal and, come on, having a "sexy neighbor" charisma can be sexier than being tall. It means your the real deal, the total package...casual and fun to be with, sexy and alluring enough to handle. (I'm short as well by the way, and my boyfriend is also TAALLL, like "how's the weather up there" tall.)

If he loves you, I wouldn't even think about it. He chooses to be with you because he sees something special in you. Tall or short, it won't make much of a difference.
Guys are always checking out other girls, looking in magazines, talking about the babes they see, but they don't love them. Most of the time, they don't even know them.
I remember when I first got married, there was a couple we used to hang out with. He was always checking the women out. (I always called him a dog) I asked him one day, while he was checking out this picture of a woman with no shirt on, is she better than the wife.
He said, "Hell no, just different." They are still married, now for 22 years. My husband of 25 years has always checked out brunettes, but he married a blond.
There is always something we do not like about ourselves.
Let him know how it makes you feel.
Just do not feel inferior, do not put yourself down. This world has a way of doing that without us doing it to ourselves.
(and be glad you have someone who can reach things on the top shelf, it really comes in handy!)

well 5"3 is really not that short. 5 feet or under is short.
a friend of mine is 4"10 and her boyfriend is 6"5 and they are one of the happiest couples in the world.
he is your boyfriend cuz he likes you.
you need to be more confident. you are a bit too insecute about yourself.
you said you are sexy. isn't it enough?
trust me, most guys don'T wanna date a tall supermodel type of girl. they always choose the girl next door type.

Don't be silly, just be happy that you are happy. I am also 5'3". Never say you are out of someones league. It makes you seem like you are insecure and worth nothing. You are wonderful and show him height is not important. That will pass.

you should ask him--he's the best person to ask... if he reassures you that you're ok/fine/great, tell him the reason you asked (that you feel insecure whenever he mentions that you're short or whenever he teases your height).
k, and if he doesn't really want to answer you or looks awkward, you know that he really minds your being "too short." remember to just ask anything that comes to your mind when you are talking to him--you can do it! :)

oh that's so sad. i think that if he's always telling you he goes for tall ones and he's like making fun of your height than i dont think that he's the right guy for you. if he is always telling you that youre too short than it probably means that he's not that into you and maybe that's a way of telling you he's not attracted. get someone else/better you deserve better. find someone that likes all of you.

don't sweat it. two reasons
1) confidence is always sexy and
2) the number of tall guys, especially ex football players, that like short girls is unbelievable.

okay i'm 4.11 and im 17!!! okay i came from a short family..my bf is 5.7....okay he likes tall girls..but hes in love with me..and doesnt mind if im short...he actually loves it... how tall or short u are shouldnt matter in a relationship..all that matters is if they care for u and accepts u for who u are.
