no, you need to remind him that his job is supposed to be spreading the word of god, and to help those in need.

That depends on your definition of Godly and God. Surely it seems like "Tony's" definition, but it seems doubtful that it is yours.
If someone refuses to talk with me, I can accept it and move on. He is the one missing out on experiencing me. If I ponder whether or not that person is being "Godly" I am putting myself in a position of judging him. That wastes time and energy that I'd much rather be spending enjoying life and my gay friends.

nope. Jesus hung out with drunks, thieves, and women. These were all not good in his day. He was even accused of being a drunken party guy because he hung out with them so much. So, along the same lines, no it is not a sin to associate with gay people. At least assuming associate isn't a euphemism for something else.

Your pastor is therefore, playing god...... And is also in danger of judgement..... because he passes judgement by treating you in that manner for doing so.....
As a pastor, he is not supposed to do this..... As a pastor, he is responsible for making an attempt to reach out to lost souls..... It is the sinner that the Lord will require, and this pastor seems to be one who sides with those who are already saved......
Shame on him!!!

Ginger

Tony is being biblical.
Romans 1:32, after denouncing lust immorality and homosexuality:..".who, knowing the righteousness of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but approve of those who practice them."

Obviously, he is not practicing what he should be teaching. Did not Jesus
Here is a passage for you that may help:
Matthew 9:10-17
While Jesus was having dinner at Matthew's house, many tax collectors and "sinners" came and ate with him and his disciples. When the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, "Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and 'sinners'?"
On hearing this, Jesus said, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice.'[a] For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."

Absolutely not! He's not got a clue what Jesus called him to do. He told us to go into all the world and preach the gospel. He didn't give us any boundries because everyone needs Christ! If you are only preaching to the choir(so to speak) then what is the point? He needs to re-evaluate why and who called Him and ask God to soften His heart to love all people. Then He can truly be a servant of God.

Well, you're Damned, time to convert! Find a religion that hasn't Damned you yet. You might, eventually, run out of religions to convert to, but then comes the fun part. Then you can just 'find' your own religion, gain converts, consolidate power, and conquer the world! Hail 'Bob'!!!

Assuming the conversation was of a civil nature, then I would say "no". How ever I wasn't there.
