Not all are submissive. There was a scandal where an Amish girl was being raped by her brothers and the community did nothing about it even though they knew.
Giving me a thumbs down does not change the facts.

I may agree that the Amish are submissive to God, but God didn't say that the Amish will be the only ones who go to Heaven. It was the Amish who said that. Not that the Amish are so different in that way, because the Catholics believe that they are the only ones who have the key to Heaven, & the Jews believe the same thing about themselves, & the Muslims, etc, etc.

I don't know where you got this information, but it is not in my Bible. The Amish will surely go to heaven because of their devotion to God. I am just as devoted to God and I am not Amish, but I do plan to go to heaven. God is our father and everyone should be submissive to him. It doesn't matter your religion, if you obey God, you will go to heaven. Sometimes we all mess up, but God is very forgiving and he will welcome you with open arms.

God is a made up idea of man. The Amish have made choices about how they live their lives. They are certainly admirable in their sincerity. But people who choose believe an any of the myths put out by any and all religions are at best mislead.

While I agree that they are submissive to God... Even the Amish know that God is no respecter of persons...... it is within an individual's heart, not his religion that God will weigh as to whether to save that soul......
