I think He would take it on an issue by issue basis.

(And of course He's a Libertarian.)

Jesus, above all else, seemed to favor active dialogue. I think he would much prefer partisan politics to one-sided dictatorial policy.

This question, I find, usually (but not always) come from neo-conservatives who think that their party is the only "moral' party, who will tell liberals what they supposedly believe, when they are clueless about what liberals believe, and who assume that all liberals are godless, amoral, psychopaths who are tryiing to get America destroyed.

To which I say, why don't you actually get to know some of us, actually talk to us, because you might just discover that there are other parties that allow you to live out your faith, and in many ways, a fuller and less narrowly constrained faith.

From what has been said about Jesus, I think that he loves parties, lots of parties.

It should be noted Jesus and others before leaned more toward kingdoms and empires, kings and emperors.

If Jesus existed I wouild assume he'd have better things to do than get involved with this petty nonsense.

No ---Jesus loved mankind so much and He probably despises many in our government.

He would probably say something like-"give unto Ceaser what is Ceaser's, give unto God what is God's". In other words, it's not his department.
